Refund policy

Pre-Owned Items

We have a 24 hour return policy, which means you have 24 hours after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging as supplied by RetroGuySA. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Pre-Owned refunds are ONLY compensated for in STORE CREDIT.  No Cash Refunds.

New Factory Sealed Items 

New Factory Sealed Items have a 7 day return period should the customer not be satisfied with their product.

These items should be returned in the same condition it was shipped or collected. Factory seal and packages should be undamaged.  The item must be returned in the original factory packaging, unopened and with the factory seal in place.

Any opened item is immediately voided from the 7 Day return.

These returns will be compensated in either cash refunds or store credit.

Defective Items

Pre-Owned items carry no warranty.

New Factory Sealed Items have a 6month - 2 year warranty depending in the item itself.

Should these items need to be returned for warranty purposes, it will need to be returned with the invoice, original packaging and all the package inserts.

Each defective return refund or resolution will be dealt with seperately and item specific.

No warranty claims will be authorised if the item shows any signs of abuse or the item was not used in the appropriate manner.

Water or fire damaged items will not be accepted.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

 

Warranties

We do offer warranties on used items and electronics.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded with store credit within 5 business days. No Cash refunds.
