Depending on the mission chapter he either plays as Brian Armstrong (assault) or Shawn Rivers (sniper). There the player can also mark an enemy and watch his movements even if the view is blocked. The player automatically ducks behind cover when approaching the wall - then the game switches to a third-person view.
